As silent echoes
of bombastic treason
shake reason and
belief
to their trusted core,
an insensed roar
bellows its pain
and tomorrow slides into the pit
of twisted oblivion.

Unlit paths unfurl
before timid feet
and bleary eyes:
today, tomorrow.
Then forevermore.

A powerful reaction to the destruction of trust and fear of what lies ahead Bobo. Very potent piece.

Bobo, I agree that this is powerful, especially the simplicity of the last stanza. I like the idea of unlit paths unfurling and I especially like the final line, written in isolation.

'silent echoes' is excellent.
