The unasked-for guest has knocked at the gate
your hopes lie next to the bones, on a plate
your heart's pounding, the doctor's lips are thin
this is a lottery you didn't ask to win.

Flashing lights, the merry go round and round
your life whirl so fast you don't touch the ground
you count the months, you look for signs and clues
you count the pilss that give you life and the blues

Fater and faster it turns
your head spins, your world burns
you wanna puke, you wanna scream
can't be right, it's just a bloody dream!

You count again, write yourself a list:
how many times you had to show your fist?
how many friends went hiding under the bed?
how many secret tears has your mother shed?
...."it's nothing luv, just the onions..."

You believed we were equal in the eyes of God
that's true hon, but first check your blood!
you got an unwanted gift from a dear friend
fear of rejection oblige you to lie, to pretend

Let me help you to be strong and not to fail;
I know of a private place where you can sail
is has a garden with a stone heart, you will see
seeds of compassion and love under an happy tree

There, the only things you need to sum
are smiles, hugs and bottles of rum!
It is your new home, your new little nest
come in my friend, please sit down and rest.
