I got up early,
In early morning,
The visions appeared dull.
Maybe I lived too much yesterday
And maybe it was the mull.

My lungs are alone in this
World of olive-green.
Reality seems so harsh while
You're living out your dreams.

To clasp the stars in my hands,
My feet must let go of the earth.
To relinquish this hold,
In poetry told,
Is to discover all I am worth.

It is a bit of a let down when your second offering to WW site gets no feedback. Blame it on the high volume of uploads over the Bank Holiday weekend. I've only just got back after broadband buggered up my PC for a week.

I recall leaving comments on your first upload - glad you wrote another one. Now, join full-time and get thyself in a poetry group. We're all seekers here, trying our darndest to improve. Also, don't be shy about leaving feedback for others, even if it is only one word. It gets others looking at your stuff.

Is "the mull" mulled wine? Or the island?
