compulsary abortion for Down Syndrome babies [Jeffery Clarke MP]

Posted on 15/04/2015 by  Chrissy31  ( x Hide posts by Chrissy31 )

Mothers with foetuses detected to have Down's Syndrome and other Disabilities should be forced into a compulsory abortion according to Geffrey Clark.

Speaking as a Mother and one that has a Child with Disabilities I was absolutely disgusted to read this article on Facebook the other day, for one thing this is discrimination and secondly, surely it is down to the individual carrying the child as to whether it is an appropriate for them. Abortion isn't something that should be taken lightly under any circumstances. Children with special needs deserve to have the same chances at life as everyone else.

If you have a child with Downs Syndrome or a disability - maybe you suffer from a disability yourself, let me know your views on what Jeffery Clark has said

Walk-Tall Repertory Company - Perfomance Review

Walk-Tall Repertory Company – Performance Review
A La Carte -Directed By Robbie Humphries.
Review by Christine Hands, Freelance Journalist

Wow! What a Spectacular performance, and one of outstanding quality delivered to a packed audience on Saturday 11th April at The Refinery Theatre in Northfleet. Walk-Tall Repertory Company performs a wide range of performance genre from Murder Mystery to new and experimental Dramas. A La Carte was certainly an evening of entertainment well spent, serving up a delicious menu of sketches averaging between 5 to 10 minutes in length. And ranging from the funny to more deep and meaningful pieces, leaving you crying with laughter or experiencing the emotions felt by the Actor/Actresses performing them. The menu was split into three, the starters, the main course and finally the dessert each offering sketches as well as songs that were sung beautifully by very talented up and coming stars of the future. The evening had been well rehearsed and excellently pieced together by Walk-Tall’s Artistic Director Robbie Humphries. Although Walk-Tall is a registered Charity that offers support to vulnerable children young People and adults, they have a professional arm that trains professional actors as part of a repertory theatre company. Their performances are just as impacting as those done by RADA or LAMDA, and of equal quality to shows put on in some of the Top West End Theatres. For an exceptional evening of entertainment served up to tantalise your taste-buds I’d say Walk-Tall is the Place to go. Walk-Tall’s next performance will be on the 25th April at Gravesend Old Town Hall for more Information please contact 0845 270 8130 or go to www.walktall.org.uk

How to create a convincing fictional therapist

In the midst of my writing, when I’m floored by a factual question to which neither Google nor my encyclopaedic husband can furnish the answer, he tells me to make it up. After all, it’s fiction I’m creating not the instruction manual for launching a rocket to Mars. While close attention to detail lends our work credibility, we should also cut ourselves some slack. It would be unreasonable to expect us to get everything right.

Aloe Vera, the wonder plant that has numerous health benefits for the body’s system. It can in fact support the system naturally, and this is why products containing aloe vera are very popular. Aloe vera grows vigorously in warm, dry climates, and although it has the appearance of a cactus plant, it originates from the Lilly family. There are many varieties of the plant; approximately 400. However, it is the Aloe Barbadensis Miller, that has been used for thousands of years for health and beauty purposes.

It is important to handle food safely to reduce the risk of getting food poisoning, salmonella, E-coli, or Campylobacter.
It all begins with hand washing. Our hands house many types of bacteria, some are more tolerable and friendly, where others are not, and can cause illness or even death!

Educating the kids is not just about the ABC or Maths, it's also about teaching them on how to eat sensibly to maintain a healthy system with some exercise thrown in! Fast food has become a huge part of modern life these days, making it very hard to teach a child how to eat healthy.
