Brighton Book Launch with a taste of Irish Music

   23 January 2009 6.30 PM – 7.30 PM
Borders Bookshop, Churchill Square, BRIGHTON

Borders Bookshop and Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project announce the launch of A GOOD CONFESSION By Bridget Whelan, Writer in Residence at BUFCP.

Set in London and Ireland in the early 1960s, A GOOD CONFESSION is about breaking the rules of faith, culture and community. And what happens when you do.

“Bridget Whelan writes in the great Irish tradition of storytelling. A Good Confession is an unputdownable, compelling love story about the conflict between passion and duty” MIRIAM STOPPARD

“…Whelan has created a richly textured plot with pathos, humor and charm, flawed but likable characters... An excellent read...” BOOKLIST USA
