'The purpose of Small Publishers, Artists and Writers Network (SPAWN) is to provide opportunities, information and resources for authors, illustrators, graphic designers, photographers, editors, self-publishers, and others involved in the process of publishing. SPAWN also gives these creative professionals the opportunity to exchange ideas and information with each other and the general public.'
