Just a quick hello to anyone who remembers me from ages ago.
I have been working on my first collection and basically stopped writing new stuff. It was intended to be a short break, but it has taken absolutely ages to get the book sorted, so in the end I just let my membership lapse, though I have continued to pop in often and read what stuff & forum bits and bobs that I could.
The collection is out now - hurrah! It's called Sleeping with the Snow Queen, published by Survivors' Press. If anyone wants details, just WW mail me.
Really loking forward to catching up with everyone, old and new!
xx

Hi, TC! I remember you - you were the first person ever to comment on my work here! A friend of mine is a pretty successful poet, so i have an idea of just how difficult it is to get anywhere at all. So very well done indeed!!!!

Thanks everyone! Lovely to 'see' old faces!!
It's great that the community is both incredibly vibrant AND long-lasting!
And well done to all of you on your successes - I think pretty much all of you have moved on such a lot and/or continued the success you had started when I was last active here.
I really look forward to being a part of things again.
Dee - spade oiled and glinting in the garage as we speak, poised for a new Quest...Jumbo still about??

Hi Colin,
lovely to hear from you. I've kept in touch with the site as much as I could and its great that you've had success - very well done!
Crumbs, the RLG, that takes me back - though I actually still do have a couple of the pieces i did from it saved on my WW archive!
How are your boys doing - they'll be pretty grown up now, I bet? I still remember the photo of one of them with the spaghetti all over his head!!
