Having been blasted by the portrait of violent teen relationships portrayed in Kidulthood, on TV recently I was bracing myself for this sequel, which in my view is much better. It contimues the story of Sam, the character who was sent ot jail for murder at the end of the first film, and the advantage of having seen that is that it's good to pick up on the way that characters lives have moved on. So I'd recommend watching it on DVD first.
