Just got back from this. Blimey! What a man. What a film. What a difference in cultures between the French and the Americans. Riveting footage, brilliantly edited and very moving.

I've been hestitating because I'm not keen on documentaries, and in any case it seems never to be on at the right time, but I'll try to give it a go after your recommend, Jem. I love films about cultural differences. Which reminds me I must post about 'Before the Rain'
