Forum for novel writing  Chess at 12:25 on 19 May 2008

Hi,

I'm hoping to join this week and I intend to post parts of two novels I am writing. I see the obvious forums are full. Which forums with free space would be most suitable for me?

Thanks,

Chess

Hi Chess,

I've just posted a message in the novel 1 group to ask inactive members to step down. If we don't get some movement I'll ask David to remove people who aren't currently active.

Hopefully we'll have space to welcome you soon.

Rod.

What kind of novels are you writing, Chess? Adult, children's or Young Adults? And on what themes? Give us an idea, and maybe someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

Just crossed with Rainstop. That sounds good.

Hi and thanks Rainstop and SusieAngela,

I'm writing adult fiction - one is a conspiracy thriller which I've finished a second draft of, and the one I'm working on now is about one man's voyage of discovery/road-trip through the Arctic circle to the eastern side of Russia.

Two, quite different genres (!) but both have the same writing style and, at their core, explore the impact other people have on the protagonist's view of their world.

Any suggestions about where to post segments or chapters, once I get full membership, would be very helpful.

Thanks again,

Chess

Sounds interesting, Chess. Hopefully Rod and David will sort you out a place in Novel I. Best of luck with it,
Susiex
