Owner Edit

I uploaded a chapter today and after a comment, decided to rewrite the second half of it, delete the posted half and paste in the new one - but owner edit didn;t work.

am i right in thinking it won't let you delete and paste in large chunks, in case you are trying to be cheeky and post up a new piece before the 2 day deadline?

Is owner edit just for small word changes etc, which i've never had a problem with?
