Superb science journalist Simon Singh, who's at risk of being personally and professionally ruined by a libel case, is campaigning to have the UK's ridiculous libel laws changed, so that it can no longer be used to stifle responsible journalists, scientists and researchers.

Thanks for posting Emma. The libel case was something I was aware of in a very peripheral way.
Given my own connection to science, Singh's writing was always much discussed. I am glad to be au courant. Indira
