    Love this. I might try to read 'To Kill a Mockingbird' again, as I - shamefully - gave up when I tried years ago.

    And how can you possibly have given up on To Kill a Mockingbird? It's completely brilliant and perfect in every possible way. Oh, do have another go!

    - I first heard this when someone whom I'd only just met read it to me aloud (and very loudly) in the tearoom of the Cambridge University Library. It was 1988, well before the particular word heavily featured had worked its way quite so deeply into everyday use ...
