    Hi!

I'm conducting research for a new novel - it's a whodunnit set in space. I've been reading up on articles, non-fictional books and other resources on a list of topics such as space travel. Although my book is fictional and set in the future I'm trying to make it plausible by basing it on research and ideas currently being carried out by scientists.

I'm worried I'll be in breach of various copyrights though. Should I be concerned about building on top of these ideas? Should I be adding some of the resources in to a bibliography at the end of my novel?

If someone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.

    Many thanks.

I don't know much about copyright myself, but you might like to look at the thread "copy wrong" by words worth.

    Hope this can help you
