I'm curious how long it took any of you, who happen to be members of one of this site's short story and/or poetry groups, to receive confirmation and acceptance into the various groups. After stumbling across this webpage a few days back, and reading tons of stories/poetry/story excerpts, I'm dying to be allowed to post my own work and comment on other people's. Some of you guys seriously write some awesome stuff and offer similarly helpful criticism. I need something like this webpage to help me improve my writing, as very few of my friends seriously attempt to write, and at school the teacher's time is split between 25+ students, and most of my fellow workshopateer's advice generally involves smiley faces and an occasional punctuation fix.
