  • Can a writer try publishers/agents a second time?
    by sue n at 19:05 on 03 May 2004
A couple of years ago, being new to all this, I sent off my MS to a host of agents and publishers. It was very raw and although I recieved some positive comments it was rejected. I have now refined and polished it (many times) and it is unquestionably better. Is it worth trying agents/publishers a second time? Do they have a means of knowing they've seen it and not bother looking again?
I am cross with myself for sending it out long before it was ready but too late now.

And if you mention this fact in your letter, that you have reworked it, would that go in your favour or not?
