  • Ruth Rendell short story comp for InterAct Stroke Support

    The fifth biannual Ruth Rendell Short Story Competition, hosted by award winning charity InterAct Stroke Support, and proudly sponsored by Oberon Books. 
    The challenge for writers is to write a piece in any genre in no more than 1000 words. The winner of the competition will receive £1000 and a commission to write four further stories for InterAct Stroke Support over the course of one year.
     
    The closing date for submissions is Thursday 29 October 2015, World Stroke Awareness Day.  
     
    Following the passing of their patron, judge and friend, Baroness Ruth Rendell, Lynda La Plante will be the final judge for the competition.  She will present the award to the winner, at a ceremony to be held in 2016.
