    I just got this and thopught I'd share it- the only thing is, they haven't put a date, so it might be tonight?

    Arts Council England is delighted to invite you to meet the winning author and translator of the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize 2007. Chaired by David Constantine, Chair of the judges.

    All attendees will receive a glass of champagne from the prize sponsors Champagne Taittinger.

    The six contenders from over 80 entries that have been shortlisted for the 10,000 prize are:

    The Book of Chameleons by Jose Eduardo Agualusa translated from Portuguese by Daniel Hahn published by Arcadia Books

    The Story of Blanche and Marie by Per Olov Enquist translated from Swedish by Tina Nunnally published by Harvill Secker

    Four Walls by Vangelis Hatziyannidis translated from Greek by Anne-Marie Stanton- Ife published by Marion Boyars

    Your Face Tomorrow 2: Dance and Dream by Javier Marķas translated from Spanish by Margaret Jull Costa published by Chatto & Windus

    Vienna by Eva Menasse translated from German by Anthea Bell published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson

    Shyness and Dignity by Dag Solstad translated from Norwegian by Sverre Lyngstad published by Harvill Secker
