I just finished reading this and i loved it. I really enjoyed the religious imagery, the characters, the historic settings.
I was surprised by how much i liked this book, i expected to not enjoy it nearly as much as i did. I almost didn't read past the first 20 or so pages, which i found a bit gruesome in their descriptions of burn victims.
Anyone else read it?

This has caught my eye. The cover and black-inked pages look gorgeous, but it keeps coming up as a Fantasy novel on Amazon and I don't think it is?
