I must join in and congartulate Ben on a terrific line I have only managed two RLGs so far due to heavy commitments but both have instantly inspired me so thank you to both authors of the lines
I'm running really slow on my RLG, and at the moment do not think I will manage to post it before mid month!!! (I'm mid-piece at the moment on the 'defunct' one word challenge, so will need to do RLG while travelling!)
So I'll be catching up on all matters RLG a bit later, and everyone who's posted a piece by then will find late feeback posted to their RLG by me at that time.
I'm doing the apology thing too this month, at least for now: other commitments call. I'll try to get reading some though, and hopefully knock out something in a week or so.
I'm also doing a bit of a "Sue H" here; after a four day total writer's block, someone upstairs unblocked my drain of a mind and the words are now flowing like piss from a tramp. I've knocked out 5000 words today and daren't work on anything else while I'm on a roll.

p.s. great line though. It's certainly got me thinking!
I have made a poetic contribution. I must apologise if I don't comment on all the RLGs but I am set up to see only Poetry - I just don't have time to keep up with everything else. Thanks for the line, Ben!

Hey Ben! Great line! Bit late, I know but I've ignored this so I could get something else finished. Now I'm ready for it. Haven't read, and therefore commented, on anyone else's pieces until I wrote my own. Will do all these things very soon!
Sue
This line reminded me a lot of my line - I think it was the use of the word 'remained' - so in true Nahed form I've written what some might think a depressing short story - RLG 7 - The Kiss. Although I don't see it as depressing. :D
Good point, John. According to my list august is swandale who doesn’t seem to be around at the moment. Should we send her an email or offer the job to someone else?
For future reference the rest of the list is:
Sep – Haunted
Oct – Anisoara
Nov – James Anthony
We foolishly agreed that in December we would write a story containing all the previous 11 lines in the right order. Personally I think anyone who even attempts that deserves a free place at a home for the Permanently Bewildered.
Good idea, TJB. Would you do that and see what response we get?
If the worst comes to the worst, I've still got lots of lines on my original list but I'm sure there are plenty of people who would jump at the chance of doing RLG8
