  • Searching for proofreaders

    Hello there ^^

I've been working on my writing project now for around 4 years, and I'm having trouble finding proofreaders for my work... well, one's that actually give feedback anyway.

I've often been advised that the views of strangers can be more beneficial to a writer than the biased opinions of a friend, so... here goes.

Here's the introduction to my book [url]http://www.sheezyart.com/view/140312/[/url] If someone could take a look, I'd be appreciative. If anyone would like to proofread through the whole thing, please let me know.

Also, If you'd like to give me a few 'talk through' pointers, my MSN is panthrajade@hotmail.com

This is the final hurdle I wish to jump before searching for a publisher. So if you like what you see in the intro, please consider taking a look at the full deal.

Thanks in advance, and hello to you all :D

Panthra, I think you may have misunderstood what WW is. We are a community of writers – mostly unpublished – who exchange feedback about each other’s work. We upload small sections onto the site, preferably no more than 3000 - 4000 words and ask for comments. In exchange, we give feedback on other people’s work.

Proofreading an entire novel is a specialised and time-consuming business. There are plenty of professionals around to do that but, obviously, you would have to pay them for the work.

Incidentally, I checked your link but only got an error message.

    Dee.

    Well yes, I have misunderstood.
I seem to have got a little ahead of myself in my search.

As for the web address, it was not meant to have the [/url] tag on the end. which leads it to go to the wrong place.

    Sorry for the confusion.
