This is a very exciting collection of flash fiction pieces, with some seriously arresting and heart-stopping stories. I'm constantly astonished at how much can be said or implied in so few words within the flash fiction genre, and this book certainly has the cream of the crop!

As a definite incentive to buy, it includes work by John Ritchie, Sarah Hilary and Bill West, and I was also particularly struck by offerings from Brian Cabrera and Oren Shafir. In fact, "Setting Momma Free" by Shafir just has to be the jewel in the collection - a gripping tale with a great build-up of tension and a superb end punch and all that in only just under two pages. Bliss.

It's available via the WW bookshop - go check it out!

Went looking for it, but there seems to be a flash overload in the bookshop. I've gone through several pages but can't find it. Can you post a direct link?
