As A Dodo by George Poles & Simon Littlefield
 Dee at 14:59 on 16 April 2008

Is it me?

These two guys have an excellent track record, having written for many TV and radio comedy shows including Dead Ringers, Have I Got News For You and The News Quiz.

As a result, I came to this book with high expectations. Sadly it fell a long way short. Its subtitle is The obituaries you'd really like to see, and they include Smoking In Public, Blackpool’s Las Vegas Dreams, and Open University Broadcasting – all potentially entertaining stuff BUT they're just not funny. In fact, some of them seem snide and mean-spirited, and I didn’t feel comfortable reading them.

Sorry guys… better stick to the radio shows.
