Jonathan Wolfman	Tracy Beaker Returns. Not just because of the writing or the Bafta but because the Producer is someone I admire, and both she, the directors, the fabulous cast and the whole Production team worked above and beyond the call of duty with a genuine passion about the material.

Mary Colson	I’m most proud of writing a book about Toni Morrison. On the spine, her name and mine are no more than an inch apart. I find that so profoundly gratifying, it’s unseemly.

Tibor Fischer	My entry in the History of Hungarian Literature – I’ve never so much as written a cheque in Hungarian, but the argument is that I’m a Hungarian writer, but pretending not to be one by writing in English.
