Armchair anarchist with a bus pass living in London with partner Jean and (until recently) adopted daughter Cherelle. One published novel (Sirat) and one collection of short stories (the Rainbow Man). A second collection on the way from Bluechrome. Semi retired - work some days with charity for people with mental health problems. Involved with small press publishing.
This is the first story I havbe submitted to Writewords so I apligise if I am offending aginst any of the site etiquette. I am currently engaged in selecting a few stories to go into a new collection which bluechrome have agreed to publish. This one deals with the troubled conscience of somebody who as a naive youth was sucked-in to the 1970s IRA campaign in Belfast (my own native city).
